Can I prevent a miscarriage?
When you think you might be experiencing a miscarriage call your OB / primary care doctor right away. In the early stages typically there is not much you can do. The chromosomes aren’t matching correctly it is your body’s way of trying to do what is best for itself. Sometimes, if you are high risk or late in your pregnancy there are things doctors can suggest or do to help. Always speak to your doctor to see what’s best for you and your health and your potential baby’s health.

How long do I have to wait to try again?
Depending on the miscarriage you will want to wait for at least 2 menstrual cycles. Always ask your health care provider. If you were further along than 3 months you will probably need to wait longer. You will need to make sure you wait the suggested time by your doctor. It is especially hard because you want to try as soon as possible. You’ll want to make sure you and your body are healthy enough and healed physically for any future baby.
